Monster in the Field — Personal Project
Monster in the Field is a personal visual development project inspired by my passion for baseball. The project explores the atmosphere and storytelling potential of a baseball field and its surrounding spaces, imagining a world where something unusual may inhabit the field.
The work focuses on environment design and spatial storytelling, exploring how the field, structures, and landscape contribute to the mood and narrative of the setting. The process includes layout explorations, environment callouts, and simple 3D blockouts used to better understand scale, composition, and the spatial relationships between key elements.
These studies help establish the visual language of the project and support the development of believable, appealing environments that serve as the foundation for the story.

Worked in close collaboration with the directors to translate the creative vision into visual development for key environment elements. Contributed to the design and exploration of a large portion of the bedroom set, focusing on composition, prop placement, and visual storytelling. Developed callouts and element studies to clarify design intent and support the environment build during production.
